Neetu Singh once used to write love letters to husband Rishi Kapoor’s girlfriend, the whole film is the love story of both

Neetu Singh Birthday: Bollywood veteran actress Neetu Singh has turned 65. Neetu has given more than one dit films in the 70-80s. At the age of 15, Neetu Singh made her debut as a lead actress in the film ‘Rickshawala’. Neetu Singh had distanced herself from films by marrying Rishi Kapoor at the peak of her career.

Rishi and Neetu met during the shooting of the 1974 film ‘Zahreela Insaan’ and Rishi fell in love with Neetu. After that both worked together in many films like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’, ‘Kabhi Kabhi’, ‘Do Dooni Chaar’. The couple has two children – Riddhima and Ranbir.

Rishi Kapoor revealed about his and Neetu’s love story during the interview and said, I met Neetu during the shooting of the film Zehreela Insaan in 1974 and I fell in love with Neetu at first sight. I remember at that time I had an argument with my girlfriend about something and I was heartbroken. After this fight, I tried my best to win her heart again and Neetu helped me to write a telegram to her.

Rishi Kapoor had further told, as time passed, I started forgetting my girlfriend and I realized that Neetu is perfect for me. After completing the shooting of Zehreela Insaan together, I went to Europe for my other projects and I was missing Neetu there. Then I sent telegram to Neetu many times while living in Europe, in which it was written that I am thinking about her.

At the same time, Neetu Singh had told that I did not like meeting Rishi for the first time. He was interrupting me on everything, because of which I felt that he is a very stubborn person, but then slowly we became friends and then got married.

After marrying Rishi, Neetu had said goodbye to her career. While Neetu was at the top of her career at that time. The pair of Neetu and Rishi Kapoor had worked together in films like Rafuchakkar, Zehreela Insaan, Zindadil, Kabhi Kabhi, Amar Akbar Anthony, Anjaane, Duniya Meri Jeb Mein, Jhootha Kahin Ka, Dhan Daulat and Doosra Aadmi.
